All theatres and producers have a legal duty to comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
This course is designed specifically for the Theatre and Production industry, aimed at any person involved in construction work who requires a clear understanding of their duties under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007, amended by the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.
The HSE introduced the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM2007) with the main aim of making health and safety an integral part of the design, construction and management of projects.
Those wanting to get a better understanding of the CDM requirements and how these can be practically implemented in the theatre environment. This could include theatre owners, managers, producers, production managers and designers.
This training will explore the CDM Regulations identifying the key roles and responsibilities and how these have been applied to the theatre industry, using the HSE industry specific guidance.
All candidates receive an RB Health and Safety Solutions Certificate on successful completion of the course.
