Fire Safety Virtual Courses

Fire Marshal Virtual course available

This course will cover the duties of these vital roles within your business. Courses can be tailored to your venue and for larger contracts we are also able to develop tailor made tactical decision making exercises for Marshals using photos and scenarios of your specific venues. Practical fire-fighting (using live fire simulators and various extinguishers) can be included in this course if the venue is suitable and there are adequate parking arrangements.

Anyone who is a designated Fire Marshal.

This training will cover the role of the fire marshal.

Course content

• Fire behaviour
• Human nature
• General fire precautions, good housekeeping and how to avoid fire starting
• Emergency plans/ Evacuation strategy
• Basic fire prevention / fire doors / exit routes
• Fire extinguishers
• Systematic searching
• Shutting down vital or dangerous equipment
• Assisting those in the premises to leave
• Fire firefighting equipment
• Reporting faults.

Certificate

All Candidates receive an RB Health and Safety Solutions Fire Marshal Certificate. It is recommended that this knowledge be refreshed annually and that the certificate be renewed every 3 years.
