Tool Box Talks
A toolbox talk, also known as a health and safety brief or safety talk, is a short presentation on a single aspect of health and safety. It is usually about a specific health and safety subject or activity and is designed to inform, educate and refresh knowledge.
Tool box talks aren’t designed to replace formal training, however they make an excellent addition to any ongoing training schedule. Unlike traditional training, tool box talks take place throughout the year and encourage people to think about safety issues at all times. Regular reminders keeps safety in the front of everyones mind and ultimately makes your workplace a lot safer.
